The Broken Jug

Our lovely BECHA was contacted by advertising agency Jung Von Matt to develop a movie-inspired poster for publishing company GU’s parenting books.

The Artist had to take inspiration from The Broken Jug and represent how children can make a big fuss out of nothing; in the words of our friends at JVM, BECHA did an amazing job with the artwork as the viewer is taken straight into the drama created by the child.

We at Machas suspect that, considering the number of objects destroyed in the wake of this kid’s passage, the movie which has inspired BECHA must have been Godzilla’s Son rather than The Broken Jug, but the Artist hasn’t confirmed yet.

The Artwork has been submitted to D&AD, Clio and One Show Festivals as well, so fingers crossed!
