ENI ANNUAL SUSTAINABILITY REPORT

Eni is without the shade of a doubt the most important energy supplier in Italy. Since its founding in 1953 Eni has help to shape and develop the life of an entire nation - as well as of other 79 countries in which it operates.

Throughout its entire history Eni has been engaging and supporting the arts. For express will of CEO and founder Enrico Mattei, who was an avid art collector, Eni has always involved creative talent into every aspect of its communication.

Keeping the tradition alive, Eni has recently developed Enizyme, a program to support young artists under 35. Within this frame Eni has requested Machas’ consultancy to develop the artistic aspect of their 2011 Annual Sustainability Report.

After discussing the possible creative options, Machas proposed a selection of five different artists who could capture Eni’s core values of solidarity, innovation and respect into a re-interpretation of the iconic six-legged dog logo. The choice fell on internationally renowned Janine Rewell and Machas supported Eni throughout the completion of the project, assuring that the delivery was aligned with the needs and timings of the client. Here is the result: enjoy!
