Blurring the boundaries between creativity, communication and activation, Machas's mission is to give shape to your vision and to inspire people.
Vogue Italia can hardly be pigeonholed in the magazine niche for fashion enthusiasts.
Since the reign of current editor in chief Franca Sozzani began, Vogue Italia has been instrumental in chronicling the evolution of costumes, never shied away from tackling subjects as complex as environmental, political and social issues whilst nurturing and developing the careers of some of the most influential photographers of our generation — Steven Meisel and Bruce Weber, just to name a few.
To mark the 50 years of what has become a platform for contemporary culture, Condé Nast has organised a grand celebration and has made every issue of the magazine ever produced available online for viewing.
Machas was contacted by Condé Nast to develop the introduction video for the project which features an interview with Franca Sozzani as well as five tutorial clips to guide the users through the features available on the website.
The video comprised of animation, live recording and music, and the result is a product where information-lead content is presented in an elegant and fluent manner, completely aligned with Vogue’s look and feel.
The video was also presented by Condé Nast Italy’s Digital Product Director Barbara Corti at Decoded Fashion in Milan at the occasion of the keynote presentation “Social+Freemium: Building the Vogue Archive”.
