The first occasion to collaborate with Nowness came from an assignment to cover El Salvador’s premium coffee farms. Requiring a photographer who could reach easily the Salvadoran volcano Santa Ana,
Machas identified uber talented Alejandro Cartagena as the right man to capture with his ethereal shots the essence and the beauty of the landscape.
Your Secret Cities: Leaf Greener- Shanghai, CHINA; Photographer Liao Dan
The second project that Machas has been working on and that has just been published today, features Elle China Leaf Greener’s guide to the best spots in Shanghai. Machas in less than 24hrs offered a selection of potential available photographers and supported Nowness in identifying Liao Dan and her fresh photography as the ideal interpreter of the Editor’s eclectic style. After liaising between the editorial team and the talent, the project came to the completion in less than 5 days.
