Ray Oranges continues his creative partnership with Renault Italia, which began last year during the eighth edition of the VIVA! Festival.
After reimagining the skyline of Locorotondo with a stunning videomapping project, the artist now brings his unique artistic vision to Rome by redesigning Renault Italia’s headquarters. Working across both the building’s exterior and interior spaces, Oranges has created visually captivating works that seamlessly merge art and design.
For this project, Oranges’ pattern encourages viewers to engage their imagination and explore from multiple perspectives.
“Thanks to Ray Oranges’ creative brilliance, we’ve dressed our Roman headquarters in a tailor-made, bold, and sparkling pop outfit, just like our iconic R5!” said Elisabeth Leriche, Marketing Director of Renault Italia. “Renault has always had a strong connection to the world of art, as it is a powerful and effective means of communication that speaks the language of emotions. It’s an extraordinary way to bring ideas and beauty to life, and we’re excited to offer this visual experience to the people of our city, even in the suburbs.”
Beyond its aesthetic appeal, the project also serves as an urban regeneration initiative, blending design, inclusivity, and sustainability. Situated in the Tiburtina district of Rome, the building stands as a compelling example of how art can revitalise and enrich areas, even those distant from the city centre, making beauty and cultural experiences accessible to all.
