Now Harrods has unveiled its new Design Studio app that allows to keep indulging in your childhood pastime without the slightest hint of guilt. The tanned California look has been upgraded into a sleek contemporary mannequin designed by Spiros Halaris and all the items in the wardrobe are available to be purchased with just a tap of the finger.

“The Style Studio app for Harrods was a challenging and really unique project”, says Spiros Halaris. “I was excited by the idea of a dress-up doll app but at the same time anxious of what the final outcome would be. We’ve seen tons of dress up dolls/apps that do not are at all appealing or do not function so fabulously. So the initial challenge was to find the right girl, the Harrods character, that could be transformed into many different styles. I decided to go for an androgynous and very contemporary woman that would match perfectly the carefully chosen pieces for the Style Studio wardrobe. I think what made Style Studio special is the fashion pieces that were selected and the overall atmosphere that the app embraces. So go on, open that wardrobe and discover all the new fashion Style Studio introduces!”
