Maria Luisa Paris AW12

Spiros Halaris has renovated his collaboration as Art Director and Illustrator for Maria Luisa Paris. The new season’s illustrations have just been released on the TheCorner.com and the striking images the designers’ new collection mixed with strong portraits and graphic elements.

What’s your creative approach to AW12?  “I continued the deconstructive theme of last season but I tried to put more emphasis on the subjects wearing the clothes, creating some very strong looks. I really wanted to capture the essence of different types of women represented by the aesthetic of the designers.”

Do you have a favorite image? Why? “I think my favorite for this season would be the Altuzarra illustrations. I loved the graphic high contrast coat and I like the way it flows on the model.”
